http://weselny-duet.pl/visre/pieor/120 Compact and subcompact cars like the Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan LEAF, Toyota Prius, BMW i3, and Tesla Model 3 typically come to mind in the electrified conversation. After all, those are the most popular models for electric and hybrid cars right now. But the trend in the automotive market has been bigger vehicles – trucks and SUVs particularly. Everyone has taken notice, especially automakers, and you’re seeing a change in the market. New models coming out are larger and appeal to the general public, but also for fleet customers. Hennessey Velociraptor a Fitting 25th Anniversary Edition

Whenever I hear about the Hennessey Velociraptor, I picture Samuel L. Jackson in the first Jurassic Park flick, sitting with a smoke hanging from his lips. Strangely enough, his well-known phrase is fitting for the Hennessey truck too — “Hold onto your butts…”

If you’ve been chomping at the bit for a glimpse of the all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, you might just forget all about it when you see the Velociraptor. Hennessey has done it again for their 25th Anniversary, far surpassing the original before it’s even landed at the dealerships.

The Velociraptor 700, the most recent version of the over-tuned truck destroys the Raptor specs. Hennessey doesn’t rely on the same measly power Ford uses, the supercharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. They aren’t happy with just 450 horsepower in a performance truck. Nope, they went for the big guns.

You’ll be thrown back in your seat to the tune of 704 horsepower. That comes from the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 — the same one the Mustang uses — with a monstrous 2.9-liter supercharger mounted on top. A little tweak here, a little mod there, and voila, you’ve got a killer truck on the streets.

Hennessey has based the Velociraptor on a F-150 FX4 platform and added a Fox suspension package, gnarly 20-inch wheels, and gorgeous powder-coated bumpers.

What do you think? Is the Velociraptor HOT or NOT?
